Tree Climber

Trees For Needs is an expanding tree service company in north Phoenix, and we are looking to join with people who are just plain passionate about what they do and love making their customers happy.
A professional tree climber is a very skilled profession and we want to invest in someone who absolutely insists on not just being good, or even great. But someone who is striving to be the best and takes pride in executing exceptional work and craftmanship.
A professional arborist is proud of their work and views each tree as an accomplishment. They insist on safety and professionalism and understand that we are serving our customers with our skills and talents.

Main objectives and duties:
- Perform all required ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader in a very safe and professional manner.
- Work as part of a team to help create an incredible experience for the customer
- Very experienced and knowledgeable in all facets of tree pruning and removals
- Be or become a Certified Arborist
- Competent in all tree climbing skills, including assessing safety hazards, tying in, rigging limbs down safely
- Responsible with strong work ethics
- Demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment…
- Take great pride in all your work
- Personable and team oriented
- Able to take constructive criticism and work on improvement
- Crane work ability a big plus but can learn
- Operate chippers, stump grinders and other equipment
- Clean, sharpen, and maintain all tools and equipment.

- Answer phones, direct calls, and set appointments
- Follow up calls to ensure customers are happy
- Take payments
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues
- Obtain reviews and referrals
- Respond to reviews
- Scheduling
- Creating follow up schedules for customers and keeping in contact
- Customer retention
- Maintaining a general knowledge of the business and activities
- Good computer skills
